太田 冬美
いつの頃からかはわからないが、私は水に惹かれている。それも静止した水でなく、流れる水に対してである。それは常に自分の胸の奥深くに流れている無意識の音楽であるからかもしれない。水は絶えず流動している。流動は水の生命だ。さらに循環して新しい水を生みだしていく。水は創造の源泉である。
水から生まれた音楽的響きとリズム。水滴が静かに落ちてくるような、ゆったりとした曲線を描いていくイメージ。水の生命力は、汲めどもつきないモチーフであり、水そのものに潜む神秘性、複雑性、そして永遠性等が、次から次へと新しい水を生んで、流れ去っていく。そして水は、いつの日か水に支配される都ベネチアのように、地中海沿岸の古代遺跡のように、都市も人もすべてを、起源へと還してくれるのだろう。
私は、絵画制作を通して、これからも水に惹かれていくにちがいない。透明感に満ちたブルーの世界、水辺の風景を描き続けていきたい。

FUYUMI OOTA
I don't remember when I was first attracted by water, especially flowing
water, not still water. Maybe because flowing water is musical, unconsciously
and constantly playing deep in my heart. Water traveis incessantly. Fluidity
is the life of water. Recirculating water gives birth to new water. Water
is the well spring of creation.
Musical sound and rhythm… generated by water. Like water drops quietly
falling, image is created by drawing free-flowing curves. The life force
of water is an inexhaustible mystery. Complexity and eternal flow innate
to water, constantly regenerates itself, and flows away. And one day, like
Venice, governed by and built on water, and the many ancient ruins along
the Mediterranean Sea, water will reclaim people and cities.
Through creation of my paintings, I will go on being mesmerized by water
and continue to paint the world filled with transparent blues.
